A few weeks ago we launched our newly redesigned LinkedIn Company Pages with a select number of our clients. Today we are taking a giant step forward by transitioning all 2 million Company Pages on the LinkedIn platform to the new experience.
With this general availability, we are also introducing the Featured Update functionality, a new way for companies to highlight important content by promoting it to the top of their company update stream. Through this free feature, brands can give prominent placement for news they want to highlight and spotlight it for up to 48 hours. For a full outline of changes, see previous blog post.
At LinkedIn, we know that Company Pages are at the heart of the LinkedIn follower ecosystem. It’s through these pages that companies reach and truly connect with their target audiences. When we launched in August, we debuted visually-enhanced features, including a sleek appearance with heightened brand imagery, streamlined navigation, a prominent follower button, and more prominent company status updates.
